Success story
The company «INTEKA» was founded in 1999. It began to operate as a small manufacturing facility of 100 square meters.
In 2002, the company began to cooperate with major retail chains in the Baltics. At the moment «INTEKA» not only developing its brands, but also producing tea under the brand names of the leading retail chains.
In 2003 «INTEKA» started to export its production to international markets. The high quality of «INTEKA» production was rewarded by Latvian Traders Association for four consecutive years, from 2003 to 2006, with an honorary prize "Product of the Year".
Today «INTEKA» is a thriving modern factory, occupying an area of 3,000 square meters. «INTEKA» is also a successful logistics company with large warehouses and trucks.
For 14 years, the company «INTEKA» successfully follows traditions of providing high quality products, offering the market a good product at a reasonable price.
Development
«INTEKA» products are produced on modern equipment, which also provides its high quality. However, the company is not static in terms of upgrading the technological base: in the near future it is planned to purchase new high-tech equipment to provide a more functional and modern packaging. The appropriate orders have already been made in Poland.
Success in numbers (financials)
The professional work of the team and a balanced development strategy enabled «INTEKA» to become a successful financial enterprise. The recent turnover increased by 40 percent and surpassed 5 million euros.
The net profit of «INTEKA» recently increased by 30 percent and is not less than 250,000 euros a year.

Stable leader
According to the sales index the «INTEKA» company takes leading positions in the Latvian market. Five types of the products made by «INTEKA», are in the top ten by the number of sales per capita.
